백선생님, Aditi, Matthew, Faiz and Vivien were the members present in this meeting. The members each read a part of the section of Kim Jiyoung selected for the meeting. Certain vocabulary and expressions were discussed, along with the contents of the book. These discussions also included comments about Korean society, such as the patriarchal family system, office-place culture, the expectations put on married women, and the favouring of male children in families. At the end of the meeting, the members briefly spoke about next week’s topic.
